My luck with bees hasn’t always been the greatest. From bees flying up my pants to getting stung on the face—bees and me have never seen eye to eye. However, DreamWorks “Bee Movie” is my one exception to my bee dislike. From creator Jerry Seinfeld comes “Bee Movie,” a comedy that will change everything you thought about bees. A bee graduating from college? A bee trying to sue the human race for stealing the bees’ honey? This is definitely a must-see movie with your family. HONEY JUST GOT FUNNY!

Who knew that Santa Claus had a brother!? I’ve always been partial to holiday movies so I had to include “Fred Claus” in my list of must-watch movies of the month. “Fred Claus” stars Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, Miranda Richardson, and John Michael Higgins. In “Fred Claus”, Fred has a hard time always living in the shadows of his brother (Santa Claus). While his brother is spreading Christmas cheer, Fred is a repo man who eventually runs out of money. So what does he do? Fred gets a job earning money at the North Pole helping in Santa’s Toy Shop. One can only imagine the trouble Fred could cause—he isn’t exactly elf material.

Another serving of Ratatouille please! After watching this movie in the theatre, I couldn’t resist a second helping of it when the DVD released this week. A story about a rat named Remy, who has a stomach for the finer foods in life, and kitchen helper Linguini who was everything short of a 4 star chef. With the help of Remy, Linguini becomes the star of the restaurant, taking the restaurant back to its glory days. The restaurant's new head chef, with his ideas of already made frozen meals and evil food critic Anton Ego, all help to create a conflict in the newly found odd couple. Crisp, clean and extremely polished, the animation just gets better and better with Pixar. Each character brings something to the table, providing a new creative storyline. It is a movie that the whole family can enjoy. That is why Pixar movies are always enjoyable--they leave something for the kids, as well as the adults.

Friendship, sometimes it means loaning a few dollars, or simply being that shoulder to cry on. The newly released DVD,” I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry”, took friendships to new heights. Funny men, Adam Sandler and Kevin James bring the laughs when their friendship quickly turns into a fake gay marriage. What seems to be an easy solution to the insurance coverage issue for Larry (Kevin James' character), turns into a plot line of trying to convince the world of their sincere love for each other.
