Plain White T's
"Tonight I'll get up on the stage and all my problems seem to go away / Tonight I'll get up in those lights and I will sing my best for you tonight," proclaims Plain White T's frontman Tom Higgenson on 'Sing My Best', from the album All That We Needed. Higgenson's newfound confidence is evident on All That We Needed, the band's sophomore release. From the percussive fury that kicks off the record's title track to the deft acoustic strumming on 'Hey There Delilah', the album's fleet 40 minutes are packed with energy, melody and purpose.

The Fully Down
It started with a driving need to play music. Six guys raised in the suburbs of Ottawa, Ontario shared that overwhelming need to play music, and to create music -- music that filled in the glaring holes they saw in the music scene. It was this need that brought them together, first as friends and then as The Fully Down. The band gave their need form, harnessed it, put it in motion, and soon The Fully Down exploded into live venues with an intensely energetic show.

Rock Kills Kid
Unlike most musicians, Jeff Tucker wasn't one of those bright-eyed kids who begged his parents for guitar lessons at age 3. He didn't sing along to Queen in front of a mirror, using a shampoo bottle as a microphone, at age 12. He didn't star as Teyve in his high school's production of Grease. His family didn't urge him to follow his dreams of being a rock star. Because he didn't have any.

One listen to the new, third album from A Static Lullaby, and it's clear the Chino Hills, California, quintet have spent the past year absorbed in that idea. They've survived internal turmoil, the loss of old friends, and the harsh realities of life on a major label; and now, having emerged from that period quite literally a new band, ASL unleash the strongest, fiercest set of songs in their arsenal.
